Q: Why disposable underwear?

A: Disposable underwear is ideal for days and times when washing is inconvenient, difficult or impossible. Can be worn and discarded, eliminating washing altogether. They can, however, withstand washing, up to about five times. Drying is quick and underwear can be re-used. Handy packaging makes it easy to keep on hand in a handbag for unexpected overnight stays.

 

Q: Paper underwear?

A: No. The underwear is made of a soft, non-woven polypropylene and has the same fit and feel as conventional underwear.

 

Q: What is polypropylene?

A: Polypropylene is a non-synthetic non-woven fabric which is highly recognised for its ability to keep moisture away from the body. It is therefore frequently used for sports gear and clothing. It is light, comfortable and breathable.

 

Q: What makes polypropylene environmentally friendly?

 

• Polypropylene is made up from carbon and hydrogen, and is manufactured without any dangerous emissions. Polypropylene can be recycled, incinerated, or landfilled without any harm to the environment. When burnt, pp will only give off water vapour and carbon dioxide, which is converted by photosynthesis. Pp does not contain heavy metals and is chemically stable (inert).
• Polypropylene is resistant to water and most oils, greases, and chemical products. It is extremely hard wearing and very tear resistant. When pp is creased a change in the molecular structure increases the material's resistance to mechanical stress.
• Polypropylene satisfies the four requirements of the EC Environment commission, namely

i. Minimum use of natural resources

ii. Reduced emission of polluting substances

iii. Long working life

iv. Optimises re-use and recycling

Q:How do I use the LifeMiracle® Magnetic Laundry System?

A: Before you start using the Magnetic Wash Balls, clean your machine by adding 1 cup of white household vinegar and ½ cup of bicarbonate of soda (koeksoda) to the machine with the wash balls wrapped in an old towel. Run a clean wash as usual. There might be a build-up of detergents and/or fabric softeners, and the wash balls will get rid of this. With continuous use of the Magnetic Laundry System, your washing machine will become cleaner and will be looking brighter than ever.

 

Place the clothes in the washing machine with the LifeMiracle® laundry balls on opposite sides of the agitator. Start the machine on the setting you normally use. Although hot water has shown the best results, you may use any water temperature setting. The laundry balls may remain in the machine, or take them out until your next wash. The units will most likely be attracted to one another in the wash, which does not adversely affect the cleaning performance.

 

Q: Why BORAX ?
